GETTING STARTED

"Where do I start?"

Planning for a new kitchen or bathroom can be an over-whelming experience.  We want to assist you along with way by providing the necessary information to help you make your decisions.  Here are some steps you can take toward making your project a success!

Gather your preliminary information

  • Browse through our web site and take advantage of the various links offered for you to view our supplier's information and products.  Look through kitchen design magazines and highlight the design details that appeal to you!   Jot down any questions you may have, plus a list of items you might like to see included in your kitchen design.
  • Visit our showroom and take the opportunity to meet and ask questions of our staff, as well as walk through our display kitchen models where you will receive an overview of the variety of products, design, colour and accessory options available to you.

In order to design a project specifically for you and your family we will need to learn more about your needs and wishes.  We will make a list of some of those items and incorporate them into your design plan.  If you have prepared a list in advance we will be glad to address those options with you.  If possible, please bring in the preliminary measurements of your space, as well as appliance dimensions, the make and model number.     If you have a budget number in mind that will assist us in providing you with the best product and design to suit your budget.

Design Stage - bringing your dream into reality

There are five areas that need to be addressed in order to design a project specifically for you and your family.  These include DESIGN, DOOR STYLE, DOOR SPECIES, DOOR FINISH, and finally, ACCESSORIES.   We can now begin to make preliminary choices for your door style, species, finish and accessory selections, as well as your choice of countertop. Our designer will then schedule a visit to your home to determine site measurements as well as your personal decorating style choices; find out what is working well for you currently and address the changes you wish to make in order to have the best design layout for your project.

Our designer will complete your initial floor plan and present you with computerized diagrams and a preliminary quote for the project.  At this point you will meet with the designer to work through and adjust design details and budgeting issues to ensure the project meets your requirements.

Contract and Payment terms:

Once you are satisfied with the overall project we will ask you to sign the contract and provide a 50% deposit towards the purchase. Your order will be placed with our supplier and within a week you will be notified of the anticipated delivery date from our supplier.

The remainder of the payment will be split into two payments, with an additional 40% being due upon delivery of the cabinets to your location. The balance of your payment, 10%, will be due upon completion. Any additions/changes to the contract will be addressed upon completion as well. Warranty or service items will be addressed once we have received final payment.
